Dr Jonathan Coldwell

Dr Jonathan Coldwell and his wife have returned to the Adelaide Hills to raise their family after many years of living and working interstate. Dr Coldwell is excited to be joining the Bridgewater Medical Clinic, just down the road from where he grew up in Stirling.

Dr Coldwell originally trained at Flinders University after undergraduate and PhD studies at the University of Adelaide. He then completed residencies at the Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne and overseas in Papua New Guinea and South Africa.

After initial training in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, and Trauma, Dr Coldwell completed his GP training and was awarded a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He then completed postgraduate qualifications in Skin Cancer diagnosis and treatment, including surgery.

Dr Coldwell has worked as a GP both in suburban and rural locations, owned and ran his own GP and Skin Cancer Clinic in Northern NSW and was a visiting medical consultant with NSW Health. Most recently, Dr Coldwell has been working as a full-time Skin Cancer doctor in Adelaide.

He is a highly skilled and compassionate Doctor who brings a complete set of GP skills as well as Skin Cancer diagnosis, treatment and surgery. He is delighted to be able to provide GP and comprehensive Skin Cancer services to the Bridgewater community and surrounds.

Outside of work Dr Coldwell keeps busy with his young family, vineyard, cattle stud and an eclectic menagerie of pets.
